My method is based on a holistic (or comprehensive, all-inclusive) approach. For example, to heal pain in the shoulder area, the person is treated as a whole or as a totality and the energy system throughout the body is brought into balance. It can well be that the cause of the imbalance is to be found in another part of the body but manifests in the shoulder.

It is also possible that the reason for physical pain is not to be found in the body at all but rather that it is a symptom of disorder in the mind or emotions.

Emotional pain, as well as negative beliefs and mental attitudes which are unhealthy for the individual, can manifest as physical pain in the body.

Because the human body, mind and soul are so closely interrelated, any cause for inharmony in one will become apparent and affect the others too.

In this sense, holistic therapy means
- that the body in its totality
- as well as the person in his/her entirety (body and soul, mind and emotions)
are treated.
